The trailer of hindi film Hungama 2 has finally arrived.Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is ending her 14-year sabbatical in Priyadarshan's Hungama 2, a sequel to her 2003 film Hungama. The film stars Paresh Rawal, Meezan Jaffery, Pranitha Subhash, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Ashutosh Rana. Shilpa Shetty appears as the charming wife of Paresh Rawal's character Radheyshyam Tiwari, who suspects his wife of having an affair with a young man (played by Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezan). Paresh Rawal reprized his role in Radheshyam Tiwari from the 2003 movie. The trailer for Hungama 2 shows the character of Meezan trying to clear up the confusion that he is the father of his college girlfriend's with the help of Shilpa Shetty.

In addition to the epic comedy sequences, the trailer also includes the remastered version of Shilpa Shetty's '90s track Chura Ke Dil Mera Goriya Chali and Akshay Kumar's 1994 movie Main Khiladi Tu Anari.
Shilpa Shetty wrote by sharing the trailer on Twitter: “Khatam hua aapka aur mera intezaar, Hungama 2 ka trailer lekar, laut aayi hoon main after 14 saal! July 23.”

Apart from comedy movies bollywood star Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, the 2003 film Hungama starred Akshay Khanna, Avtab Shivdasani and Remy Sen in the main roles. In the film, Shakti Kapoor, Tiku Talsania, and Shoma Anand appeared in supporting roles.

Hungama was a remake of the 1984 Malayalam film Poochakkoru Mookkuthi. It is the sequel to the 2003 comedy film, starring Akshay Khanna, Rimi Sen, Paresh Rawal, and Aftab Shivdasani at the helm. Interestingly, Akshaye will appear in Hungama 2. Apart from Ramesh Turani's horror comedy Hungama, Bhoot Police is also preparing for its premiere on Disney + Hotstar this September.
