On 10 June 2026, the makers unveiled the most awaited film Alpha teaser on social media. The upcoming movie in the Yash Raj Films Spy universe reveals the backstory of a new secret agent for a covert organization. The preview features Alia's character receiving a brutal birthday present from Bobby's character.

The Alpha teaser opens with an appearance of a charming outing between a father and his daughter. This changes quickly when Bobby, portraying Alia’s father in the movie, gives her the key to a room. Alongside his wishes for her 18th birthday, he requests her to complete her first task.

When she reacts sharply, believing he organized her birthday dinner, he points out that this is what she has prepared for her entire life. The teaser concludes with the proud expression on the father's face as his daughter completes her first mission on her 18th birthday. A sketch presents Bobby and Alia as ‘Baba’ and ‘Sita’.

YRF’s Film Alpha Cast

The YRF’s film Alpha is led by two fierce ladies that are Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh. In the teaser Alia Bhatt is seen as ‘Sita’ and Bobby Deol is seen as ‘Baba’ (Sita’s father). 

Sharvari Wagh’s role is yet to be revealed. Anil Kapoor and Hrithuk Roshan are also included in the list of Alpha cast.

Shiv Rawail’s Alpha Is Similar To Dhurandhar? 

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is a spy-action film based on true events. Some people compare it with Alpha because both the movies belong to the same genre.

But, Alpha is not like Dhurandhar at all. If you want to experience something different from love stories or college romance, then Alpha is a perfect pick for you.

After watching Alpha teaser, I want to share my reviews with you. There are some things which I like and which I don’t like in the teaser.

  • Alia Bhatt looks convincing in action mode and brings a different energy.
  • The teaser creates curiosity without revealing too much of the story.
  • Sharvari Wagh's absence feels disappointing considering she is a lead actress.
  • The overall teaser is more emotional than thrilling, which may not work for everyone.

Personally, I liked the Alpha teaser. It doesn't rely on loud action or over-the-top hero moments. Instead, it focuses on building curiosity around Alia Bhatt's character.

While it could have been more thrilling, Bobby Deol's presence, the emotional setup, and the grand visuals make Alpha one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2026.

Box Office Clash Between Alpha & Baby Do Die Do

Alia Bhatt’s Alpha will face tough competition with Huma Qureshi’s Baby Do Die Do at the box office. Both the movies are slated to release on 3 July 2026.

If we compare the teasers, both are creating hype among the audience and people are excited to watch these two biggest releases. Now, it will be interesting to see which film wins the audience’s hearts.
