Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, the father of actor Salman Khan, has been put on a ventilator at Lilavati Hospital on Wednesday. The 90-year-old was taken to the Mumbai hospital on Tuesday morning after experiencing a minor brain hemorrhage. The doctors addressed the media and disclosed that a procedure was conducted to stabilize his condition, and he is now recovering.

On Wednesday afternoon, doctors informed the media that Khan was expected to have surgery initially. The procedure is currently on hold as he continues to be monitored.

Is Salim Khan Stable?

Yes, Salim Khan is stable and doing well. "If everything goes smoothly, he will be removed from the ventilator by tomorrow," the statement continued. Previously, the medical team disclosed that he experienced a rise in blood pressure on Tuesday, after which his personal doctor recommended the family take him to the hospital.

Celebrities Visited Hospital To See Salim Khan

Javed Akhtar, the screenwriter and part of the legendary Salim-Javed pair, went to see Salim Khan following his hospital admission yesterday.

Sohail Khan, the youngest son of Salim Khan and a producer, also went to see the family head at Lilavati Hospital. He was seen at the hospital together with his ex-wife Seema Sajdeh and their son Nirvaan Khan.

Salman Khan, singer Iulia Vantur, Sshura Khan, Salma and Helen (Salim Khan's wives) also went to the hospital.

In a formal health announcement, Dr. Parkar stated, “There was minor brain bleeding." A procedure known as DSA was performed this morning. Surgery was not needed. He remains on the ventilator. By tomorrow, he should hopefully be taken off the ventilator. Considering the age, the duration of recovery is increased.

The physician emphasized that findings indicating surgery were incorrect. "I want to reiterate that no surgery was conducted." It was a process, so please refrain from saying that a surgery was conducted. It was a process that we typically perform. Indeed, he experienced a brain hemorrhage that was quite minor and did not necessitate any surgical procedures. Surgery was not necessary. The techniques that we utilize, such as angiography, we executed a procedure on him. "Rest, no surgical procedure was conducted," he stated.

For now, Salim Khan is under close medical care, and fans are hoping for positive updates in the coming days.
