Gyaarah Gyaarah trailer: Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra time travel to crack a 15-year-old murder

After earning acclaim for his antagonistic role in Karan Johar and Guneet Monga’s film Kill, Raghav Juyal is set to make waves again with the upcoming web series Gyaarah Gyaarah. The show's trailer, released on Wednesday, features Raghav as a police officer alongside Kritika Kamra. The series also features Dhairya Karwa, known for his role in Gehraiyaan, in a significant role.

It then presents Raghav as Yug Arya, a police officer, who talks with his superior, Vamika Rawat, played by Kritika Kamra, about a persistent case where a mother has been seeking justice for her daughter for more than a decade. This discussion prompts the reopening of old cases. The narrative takes a captivating turn with the element of time travel, as Raghav uses a walkie-talkie to communicate with another cop, Shaurya Attwal, played by Dhairya Karwa, from the year 1990. The walkie-talkie acts as a bridge between the present and the past, linking current events with those from 1990 as the two officers collaborate to solve the case.

The official synopsis of Gyaarah Gyaarah describes it as follows: "An anomaly connects two police officers across timelines through a walkie-talkie that activates at 11:11 pm each day. As they assist each other in solving cases, their surrounding reality changes permanently."

Kritika Kamra shared her excitement about the project, stating, “Being a part of Gyaarah Gyaarah has been an exhilarating journey. This role is a departure from anything I’ve done before – it has pushed me out of my comfort zone. Portraying a police officer in this mind-bending mystery thriller has been both thrilling and demanding. Working alongside creative forces like Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor has been a dream come true. Their guidance and energy on set were truly inspiring. I’m eager for the ZEE5 audience to experience this unique story that blends time, suspense, and human emotions in an unprecedented way, creating a truly unique and exciting narrative.”

Raghav Juyal also expressed his enthusiasm about the show, noting, “Being a part of Gyaarah Gyaarah has been a transformative experience for me. I began my career on a TV reality show and transitioned into hosting and comedic roles. Now, as I make my mark in Bollywood, I am deeply grateful to Guneet for recognizing my potential and encouraging me to embrace more serious and challenging roles. Playing a police officer for the first time is a significant responsibility and a big leap from my usual performances. I am excited about this opportunity to showcase a different side of my acting skills. I can’t wait for the ZEE5 audience to see what we’ve created with Gyaarah Gyaarah – it promises to be a new and unique experience for me and hopefully for the viewers as well.”

Dhairya Karwa also shared his thoughts on the project, saying, “Immersing myself in Gyaarah Gyaarah has been an incredible journey. The concept of manipulating time and its impact on our decisions is fascinating, and portraying that on screen has been thrilling. Collaborating with such a talented cast and being guided by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Umesh Sir has been a special experience. This project stands out from anything I’ve worked on before – it’s intense, thought-provoking, and keeps you engaged. I am excited for ZEE5 audiences to dive into this distinctive mix of thriller and suspense, which challenges our perceptions of time and fate. Gyaarah Gyaarah is a series that will make viewers rethink everything they thought they knew about time and destiny.”

Gyaarah Gyaarah is scheduled to launch on ZEE5 on August 9.
