Vadodara Air Show- IAF aircrafts to dazzle the sky

A magnificent serial show will be exhibited by The Indian Air Force (IAF) Gujarat on Wednesday and Thursday  26th and 27th September, 2018. The show will exhibit the aerial skills of various aircraft.

The Indian Air Force  is organizing a campaign by the name of ‘Know Your Faces’ and this aircraft show will be held as a part of the campaign. This campaign is organized with the idea of motivating the local youth to join IAF. The details were confirmed by Rachna Joshi, PRO, Wing Commander, Vadodara air force station.  

Various formations will be showcased by the IAF's Surya Kiran aerobatic team and Akash Ganga, the sky diving team. This event will be organized at the Harni Camp, located on the outskirts of the city.

The aerial drills will enthrall the locals and provide them a chance to see the glory of the country's sky warriors, Joshi said.

She said the 'Know Your Forces' campaign is intended at showcasing the potential of IAF and spread awareness amongst the youth of the state to join the defense wing for a bright and promising future ahead.

In the past the IAF has also organized many campaigns to promote women to join IAF services. IAF has recently been in news for various controversial reasons; this air show will be a revamp to its image.

Upcoming Air Shows by IAF

Another aircraft show will be organized in Jodhpur next month. The Kiran Aerobatics Team of Indian Air Force shall present a scintillating aerial display on 26th and 27th October in the city. The performance shall be a part of Air Force Anniversary celebrations. Akash Ganga Sky diving team of IAF will also showcase their skills on the occasion.  

The revived daredevil aerobatics team of IAF is renowned for its flying formations, spectacular feats and military exercises like splits, level and rolling crosses along with inverted runs and the heart loop etc.

Raising a toast to stunt flying enthusiasts, SKAT will be carrying out the close passes, brand formations and breathtaking roles and loops on British origin Hawk Aircraft.
