Firki is not the first Gujarati film in which Johnny Lever has worked. Earlier, he appeared in several Gujarati films, including Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaay (2017), where he played a college principal, and Jaysuk Zdpayo (2022), in which he portrayed the character Mansukh.
