About Kerala State Film Award

The Kerala State Film Awards recognize films produced in Kerala. The awards were initiated in 1969 by the Kerala Government's Department of Cultural Affairs, and after 1998, the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy has presented them on behalf of this department.

On Monday, at a press conference in Thrissur, Kerala's Minister for Fisheries, Culture and Youth Affairs, Saji Cherian, revealed the winners of the 55th Kerala State Film Awards. The winners were selected by a jury of seven members led by seasoned actor Prakash Raj.

Reports indicate that 128 films from 2024 were submitted for evaluation, with 26 making it to the final selection round. Below is the list of 55th Kerala State Film Award Winners list.
