One of the most frequently discussed achievements is Saiyaara exceeding the global total of Aashiqui 2. Launched in 2013, Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2 quickly became a hit and is regarded as one of the era's most successful love stories.Despite having a modest budget of Rs 15 crore, the film made over Rs 110 crore worldwide, making its lead actors instant celebrities and establishing Mohit Suri as one of Bollywood's leading directors for fervent romances.

Although Saiyaara has surpassed that figure, it still has progress to make regarding profitability. Aashiqui 2 was produced with a small budget of Rs 15 crore, whereas Saiyaara was said to have a production cost of Rs 50 crore. It needs to make more than an astounding Rs 380 crore globally in order to compete with Aashiqui 2's profit margin.

Nonetheless, it’s undeniable that Saiyaara has resonated with viewers. Thanks to excellent word of mouth and consistent ticket sales, this first film is becoming one of the top box office successes of the year.

Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara Surpassed Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2 & Sikandar

The Yash Raj Films production has grossed about 151 crores in four days, which is more than the combined worldwide receipts of Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar, and Kesari 2, which brought in 150 crores and 145 crores, respectively. In addition to being a remarkable debut for its new cast, Saiyaara is also among the Bollywood productions that have made the most money worldwide this year.

The Monday hold was especially significant as it indicates strong word-of-mouth. Although it is a non-franchise and newcomer-driven film, Saiyaara has quickly risen to become the 6th highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year.

By today or tomorrow, the newest blockbuster will surpass Salman Khan's Sikandar (185 crores) to rank as the 5th highest grosser of the year. Saiyaara will remain the top choice for Hindi box office goers until August 1st, when there won't be much competition.

With powerful storytelling and growing word-of-mouth, Saiyaara is proving that fresh talent and heartfelt cinema still rule the box office. And this is just the beginning!
