The Royals Story
When top CEO Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi) encounters Aviraaj Singh (Ishaan), a unique chance to advance her new startup unexpectedly presents itself. Aviraaj is a prince whose deteriorating royal home in Morpur, India, needs urgent repairs, but his family cannot afford to do so.
Enter Sophia, a shrewd business executive whose firm establishes five-star bed-and-breakfasts. Can Aviraaj, the polo-playing aristocrat, and Sophia, the girlboss, set aside their class differences and contrasting life experiences long enough to rescue the palace? Or will their developing feelings for one another become a hindrance?

Netflix’s The Royals Cast & Release Date
Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar’s show The Royals debuted on Netflix starting May 9. The Royals features Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday, and Vihaan Samat in significant roles. This signifies Bhumi's debut in a series and Zeenat's inaugural partnership with Netflix.
Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana are the directors, Pritish Nandy is the producer, and Neha Veena Sharma wrote the screenplay.
The Royals Trending In 43 Countries
The Royals received 3 million viewers in its first week, accrued 17.7 million viewing hours, and came in third place on the global trending list of the top 10 non-English Netflix series, according to Netflix data.
