HBO has announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its hit series, The Last of Us. The firm revealed that the upcoming season is set to start broadcasting on April 13. The series draws inspiration from the PlayStation video games and centers on characters in a dystopian world.
The Last Of Us Season 2 Story
The first season of the series depicted the happenings of the initial video game in the franchise. Season 2 will continue the plot from the sequel, The Last of Us: Part II. The narrative takes place five years following the events of the initial season. Joel and Ellie persist in their quest within a world impacted by a fungal outbreak. They will encounter fresh dangers, such as increasingly perilous infected beings.

Cast Of The Last Of Us Season 2
A number of new performers will become part of the cast in Season 2. Kaitlyn Dever is set to portray Abby, and Isabela Merced will assume the character of Dina. Young Mazino is set to play the role of Jesse, while Ariela Barer will take on the character of Mel.
