Releasing Date Of Laila Telugu Movie

The latest telugu movie, Laila is released on Valentine’s Day i.e, on 14th Feb 2025. Thus, you can stream this now in your nearest theaters.

Story Of Telugu Movie Laila

The plot of ‘Laila‘ centers on Sonu (Vishwak Sen), who runs a women’s beauty salon with profound emotional ties to his mother. He lands in serious trouble, jeopardizing the establishment and his reputation. To cope with the crisis, he assumes the persona of a woman called Laila and attempts to demonstrate his innocence. The remainder of the tale focuses on how Sonu/Laila manages to reach his objective.

Performance

Vishwak Sen’s role exhibits two distinct facets in the movie. One role is Sonu, where he showcases his typical hyper-energetic persona, while the other is Laila, in which he wears a female outfit. Vishwak is not guilty of any misconduct and aims to succeed, yet the constraints in his writing hinder him from making a significant impact.

With her skin show, Akanksha Sharma effectively brings a touch of glamour to the movie. Other than that, her character fails to make a significant impact. Babloo Prithiveeraj was average, while Abhimanyu Singh receives ample screen time as a comedic antagonist and successfully delivers on some moments through his acting. Vineet Kumar, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Prithvi, and some others were fine.

Telugu Movie Laila Review

One of the top Telugu Movies, Laila is helmed by Ram Narayan. The plot of the film may seem intriguing, but it required a new approach and a lead character design that effectively conveys both entertainment and emotions. Laila showcases old ideas and falls short in execution, although several entertaining moments with Abhimanyu Singh’s character shine through.

One might anticipate new or captivating scenes when a dynamic hero like Vishwak Sen takes on the female role of Laila. Nonetheless, the director fails to present a scene or moment that grabs attention. It's perfectly acceptable to create an 'A' rated film, yet the storyline and progress must be believable. The sporadic crude/inexpensive conversations undermine the film's effectiveness.

Twitter Review Of Telugu Movie Laila

The internet has not treated Laila well, labeling the film a complete shame. Responding to the boycott Laila issue, a Twitter user humorously stated, "Don't trust any negative reviews aimed at #Laila movie. #LailaMovie is a disaster in its script from start to finish; it's unbearable torture." Another user posted a thumbs down and vomit emoji alongside an image of the movie's title card, stating, “The Worst... "Honestly, what a mess.

While Laila had the potential to be a refreshing entertainer, it falls short due to weak storytelling and execution. Despite Vishwak Sen’s efforts, the film struggles to leave a lasting impact.
