The temple, overseen by Karthik, a former Army officer, has historically served as a site for Rajinikanth’s admirers to honor him. Karthik, an ardent admirer of the superstar, built the temple stemming from his profound affection for Rajinikanth. For many years, he has been leading daily prayers and unique worship services at that location.

The temple was initially established in an upper room of Karthik's residence, showcasing images and sculptures of Rajinikanth. This year, on Rajinikanth’s 74th birthday, a new 3-foot tall, 300 kg statue based on his character from Mappillai has taken the place of the old statue. Unique prayers and ceremonies are organized for the event.

In a conversation with ANI, Karthik shared his enthusiasm and noted, “To celebrate Rajinikanth’s 74th birthday, a new statue of the superstar, standing 3 feet tall and weighing 300 kg, has been revealed." In October of last year, a statue of Rajinikanth was erected and revered. A new statue has just been made.

Abhishekam Ceremonies For The New Idol

Today, unique abhishekam ceremonies were conducted for the new idol. Several months ago, Rajinikanth's public relations officer reached out to us to ask about the temple. We are currently anticipating an invitation from Rajinikanth to come see him and obtain his blessings. "Happy Birthday, Thalaiva!"
