Early in the story, there are three hints provided, particularly when a neighbor becomes alarmed after meeting Mini, the daughter. Before long, peculiar events begin to occur, like the passing of their family's cat, resulting in a second cat appearing.

Once the deaths begin happening, it becomes clear that something is seriously amiss. The part where Mini's friend Deepak witnesses her eyes changing to a blood-red color remains a standout moment in horror. From here onward, the enigma is deciphered, leaving only the exorcism to be done. Raal was lauded by critics for its technical skill and ability to meet all the expectations of horror fans. 3. 9

The film centers around Dr. Albert Lewis, a widowed astrophysicist, and his distant relationship with his eight-year-old son Adam, whom he blames for his wife's death while giving birth. Albert's brother-in-law shares the same hatred towards Adam, thinking that the child is wicked.

As the father and son explore the approaching comet, a woman called Ava shows up and starts harassing Adam, but Albert suspects that his son's safety may be at risk. The movie 9 has impressive visual effects and cinematography, but its emotional core is the father-son bond. 4. The House Next Door

6. Tumbbad

Tumbbad made its debut at the 75th Venice International Film Festival, marking it as the initial Indian film to be featured at the festival. The legendary tale involves the people of Tumbbad, Maharashtra, disobeying the Goddess of Prosperity's command and facing a destructive curse. The film was widely praised, receiving eight nominations and winning three awards at the Filmfare Awards.
