Some names from the contestant list have been surfacing ahead of Salman Khan's highly anticipated Bigg Boss 18 reality show. It has recently been speculated that Salman's supposed ex-girlfriend, Somy Ali, will be appearing on the show. The former model and actress has now responded to the same, though. She denied these rumors and made a serious jab at Bigg Boss, referring to it as a highly manufactured program.
Speaking on the same subject to IANS, Somy Ali declared, "I can't give up my non-profit to work on a show whose production takes too long. With all due respect to the show, I must admit that I haven't seen a single episode and have no idea what it's about. I've heard it's scripted, and I was supposed to compete, but I've never discussed this with any behind-the-scenes cast members of the show. She further said that the producers of Bigg Boss 18 were using her name as a potential candidate as a way to increase viewership.
The actress from Aao Pyaar Karen stated that she would not participate even if asked to be a contestant. As a result, it's just a baseless rumor and, at most, a common move by networks to increase viewership. This isn't shocking at all because in the 1990s, I was ordered to pretend that I was having an affair with a certain star just before that particular picture was out for publicity. Somy Ali stated that she had no desire to participate in any "scripted reality show." In relation to Bigg Boss 18, the actress from Teesra Kaun further commented, "Think about this: Somy Ali is taking over as the host of Bigg Boss after Salman Khan." Consider the reviews or perhaps take part in it. At most, these are all concocted tactics. I also don't intend to take part in any reality shows that are scripted. especially following a stint on an unscripted show.
In the meantime, October 5, 2024 is expected to be the debut date of Bigg Boss 18. Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, was skipped by Salman Khan. The superstar will, however, make a spectacular comeback in the 18th season. Karan Patel, Sameera Reddy, Surbhi Jyoti, Pooja Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim, Dalljiet Kaur, Abhishek Malhan, Mr. Faisu, Deepika Arya, Dolly Chaiwala, Maxtern, Thugesh, Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Akriti Negi, Jashwant Bopanna, and Siwet Tomar are a few of the speculated contestants for the upcoming season.
