In July 2024, several highly anticipated web series will premiere across various OTT platforms, including "Mirzapur 3," "Showtime," "Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper," & "Pill". Fans are also eagerly awaiting shows like "Snowpiercer 4," "Sunny," and "Suits."
Mirzapur 3
The third season of "Mirzapur" is one of the most awaited releases. Starring Ali Fazal and Vijay Varma in lead roles, the series also features Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, and Pankaj Tripathi. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, this season will continue the intense crime drama that began in 2018. The new season, which includes actors like Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Harshita Shekhar Gaur, will be available on Prime Video starting July 5.
Showtime
The final three episodes of the web series "Showtime" will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 12. The series stars Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, and Vijay Raaz. Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, "Showtime" is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and explores Raghu Khanna's journey towards redemption and ambition.
Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper
"Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper," starring Manav Kaul and Tillotama Shome, is set to release on Netflix on July 18. Produced by Ram Sampath and directed by Amrit Raj, the series is written and showrun by Puneet Krishna. The drama features Shweta Basu Prasad, Sumit Gulati, Naresh Gosain, Naina Sareen, Faisal Malik, and Ashok Pathak. It tells the story of an ordinary man's chaotic and comedic journey as he becomes entangled with a dangerous gang of halwaais.
Pill
"Pill" marks actor Riteish Deshmukh's debut in a web series. Premiering on JioCinema on July 12, this series presents a gripping tale of good versus evil, centered around a whistleblower's battle against the corruption in the pharmaceutical industry.
Commander Karan Saxena
Disney+ Hotstar's action-packed series "Commander Karan Saxena" stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Iqbal Khan, and Hruta Durgule. Streaming from July 8, the series is directed by Jatin Wagle and produced by Rajeshwar Nair and Krishnan Iyer. It revolves around a RAW agent unraveling a high-stakes mystery amidst political intrigue and betrayal.
Snowpiercer 4
The fourth and final season of "Snowpiercer" will air on AMC starting July 21. Titled "Snakes in the Garden," the premiere episode features an epic showdown as Till and Ben venture outside the train, facing unforeseen adversaries. Starring Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Clark Gregg, and Michael Aronov, this season adds complexity to the residents of New Eden as they grapple with uncertainty.
Suits
The ninth and final season of "Suits" will stream on Netflix from July 1. Since its debut in 2011, the series has followed Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout with a photographic memory, who is hired at a New York law firm by Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). The final season stars Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and Katherine Heigl, with Patrick J. Adams making a special guest appearance.
Sunny
"Sunny," a mystery thriller directed by Lucy Tcherniak, will premiere on Apple TV+ on July 10. Starring Rashida Jones as Suzie, the series follows an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, whose life is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. The series will debut with two episodes, followed by one episode every Wednesday through September 4.
Lady in the Lake
The limited web series "Lady in the Lake," starring Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram, will debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on July 19. Directed by Alma Har'el, the series also features Y'lan Noel, Brett Gelman, Byron Bowers, Noah Jupe, Josiah Cross, Mikey Madison, and Pruitt Taylor Vince. New episodes will be released every Friday through August 23.
