IGNOU Launches New Postgraduate Course In Folklore, Culture Studies



New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has presented another postgraduate program in Folklore and Culture Studies from January 2021 meeting. The new expert's program in open distance learning (ODL) mode will basically zero in on schedule, geology, space, and writing of the fables and culture of the world as a rule, and of India specifically. Applicants with a college degree in any order can apply online for the two-years' Master of Arts in Folklore and Culture Studies (MAFCS) at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The open college has been offering Postgraduate Diploma in Folklore and Culture Studies (PGDFCS) through open distance learning mode.

The new MA program means to discover the connection between people culture and setting through different structures acquired from orders, for example, Literature, History, Sociology, Anthropology, Folklore Studies and arising controls, for example, Culture Studies, an IGNOU articulation said.

IGNOU's MAFCS centers around topics including oral writing, material culture, social traditions, performing expressions, speculations, and strategies for fables utilized so far like authentic topographical, recorded remaking, philosophical, practical, psychoanalytical, multifaceted, primary, and context-oriented.
