Very few people know his real name was Waseem later his father changed his name to ‘Mohsin Khan’. Mohsin has done many roles in his acting and modeling career but the real fame he gets with the role of Karthik Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He was born(October 26, 1991) in Nadiad, Gujarat. In his family, his father's name is Abdul Waheed Khan, his mother Mehazabin Khan, married sister Zeba Ahmed, Younger brother Sajjad Khan. He completed his schooling at a children’s academy. After school, he joined Mithibai College, Mumbai.

He appeared in an advertisement for Ceat tyres at the age of 18 and he earns 10,000 from it. He was also the second Assistant Director on the movie ‘Koyelaanchal’. Subsequently, he made his debut in acting with daily Soap ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ aired on star plus. In 2016, he get fame by portraying the lead role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Karthik Goenka along with Shivangi Joshi. Currently, the audience and his fans are loving him as Karthik Goenka he becomes popular in every home. In 2014 he worked in Love by chance as Jignesh, subsequently, he gets offered the role of Roumil in Meri Ashiqui Tum Se Hi, and then at the end of 2014, he also worked in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins as Ritesh. In 2015, he did an episode in the series ‘Pyar Tune kya Kiya’ named ‘Suraj’. He also enacts in a very famous daily soap aired on Life Ok ‘Dreamgirl- Ek Ladki Deewani Si’ as Samar Sareen.
