Indira Gandhi National Open University known as IGNOU is a Central University located at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India. This University is named after former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, the university was established in 1985, after the Parliament of India passed the Indira Gandhi National Open University Act, 1985. IGNOU is run by the central government of India, and with a total active enrollment of over 4 million students, claims to be the largest university in the world.
IGNOU was founded to serve the Indian population by means of distance and open education, providing quality higher education opportunities to all segments of society. It also aims to encourage, coordinate, and set standards for distance and open education in India, and to strengthen the human resources of India through education. Apart from teaching and research, extension and training form the mainstay of its academic activities. It also acts as a national resource center and serves to promote and maintain standards of distance education in India. IGNOU hosts the Secretariats of the SAARC Consortium on Open and Distance Learning and the Global Mega Universities Network, initially supported by UNESCO.
(IGNOU) has been granted the authority to confer degrees by Clause 5(1)(iii) of the IGNOU Act 1985. IGNOU is also recognized as a Central University by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC). The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognizes IGNOU conferred degrees as on par with the degrees conferred by its members and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognizes the Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration program of IGNOU.

IGNOU Hall Ticket 2020 - Indira Gandhi National Open University will release the IGNOU hall ticket for June TEE 10 days prior to examinations at ignou.ac.in. Successfully registered candidates for June 2020 TEE can download the IGNOU hall ticket of 2020 by using their enrolment number. The university has extended the last date of IGNOU examination form submission till June 30 for the June TEE 2020. IGNOU June TEE 2020 dates will be notified soon by the university. Registered candidates can download their IGNOU hall ticket 2020 till the respective exam date. It must be kept in mind that the IGNOU hall ticket will be released only for those candidates who would have registered for IGNOU admission 2020 before the last date and it is crucial to carry that. IGNOU hall ticket download process will need the candidates to log into their IGNOU registration log in the window by using their 9-digit enrollment number and selecting the respective program they have registered for. On the examination day, candidates must carry the hard copy of their ignou.ac.in hall ticket to prove their authenticity. Without possessing IGNOU to admit card 2020, no candidate will be allowed to take the examination.
IGNOU fee Structure:
These courses are affordable are minimal fee-charging. The charges vary from Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 25,000. The courses are Diploma courses, bachelor’s courses, and even masters in various fields to choose from.
