Alia Bhatt’s most ambitious forthcoming movies -Alldatmatterz

Alia Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan has catapulted to unimaginable stardom with her debut movie ‘Student of The Year’ in 2012. In just 5 years, Alia has given some of the outstanding performances of recent times, for example- ‘Highway’, ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Dear Zindagi’ to name a few. Young actress has a sweet presence on silver screen which is appealing to viewers of every age group.

On 15th March, this dimple beauty has hit the landmark age of 25. Alia who is shooting for mentor Karan Johar’s much talked about project on western shores, let’s find out more about her forthcoming movies-

Brahmastra:

Produced by Karan Johar, ‘Brahmastra’ is the first part of a fantasy adventure trilogy. Alia Bhatt will be paired opposite Ranbeer Kapoor. The movie directed by Ayan Mukherjee will also have Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in the cast. ‘Brahmastra’ is tentatively scheduled for 15th August 2019.

Raazi:

Alia will be seen playing a Kashmiri girl in Meghna Gulzar’s drama ‘Raazi’. The actress just finished shooting for the movie in picturesque Kashmir and posted several behind the scenes images on her social networking account. Alia will romance Vicky Kaushal in ‘Raazi’ for which she opted for a de-glam look.

Gully Boy:

Alia’s pairing with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ has created enough ruffles in the media. The duo shared amazing chemistry which was evident through a TV commercial they both acted in. Considering Zoya’s master skills as a director, we are sure it will be a delight to witness these two young actors work their magic in ‘Gully Boy’.

Sadak 2:

News have been making the rounds in media circuit that, Vishesh Films are making the sequel of their 90’s musical hit ‘Sadak’ with Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt. Alia will play daughter to Sanju. The movie will be directed by Pooja Bhatt and will start the shooting in Feb. 2019.

Aashiqui 3:

There has been talk about Alia featuring in the 3rd instalment of Vishesh Film’s all time musical hit franchise ‘Aashiqui’. It is said that Alia will be seen with her ‘close’ friend Siddharth Malhotra in ‘Aashiqui 3’. Mostly Mohit Suri will helm the director’s cap for this one too. The movie will be released in 2019.
