<p>Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was born in August 1967 at Sri Gurusar Modia, a village in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. Gurmeet, popularly called by his last name ‘Insan’ is an Indian spiritual leader, social worker, actor, director, singer and also a convicted rapist. A special CBI court convicted him of rape on 25th August 2017.</p>
