Interstellar, a film released in 2014, was directed by Christopher Nolan and garnered four nominations from the Academy Awards. Interstellar depicts Earth's final opportunity to locate a livable planet before dwindling resources lead to human extinction.
The main character of the film is Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), an ex-NASA pilot assigned to head a mission through a wormhole in search of a livable planet in a different galaxy.

The Time Travel movie tracks John Connor, residing with foster parents as his mother Sarah Connor (the protagonist from the first film) is in a mental institution after being apprehended for attempting to destroy a robotics factory to prevent - or at least delay - Judgement Day.
Skynet seeks to eliminate John because he will ultimately bring humanity together and battle the machines. For that purpose, they dispatch a T-1000 Terminator to eliminate him. Recognizing that his life was in danger, the future John dispatched another Terminator to ensure his safety.

Back to the Future takes place in 1985 and centers on Michael J. Fox’s character “Marty McFly” as he races against time. He is an average teenager from the 80s residing in Hill Valley, California. His family includes his father, George, a passive man who is intimidated by his boss, and his mother Lorraine, a heavy drinker struggling with depression. He has older siblings he can't admire either, so he frequently shares his fear of becoming like his parents with his girlfriend, Jennifer Parker.
He encounters a scientist named “Dr. Emmett Brown,” portrayed by Christopher Lloyd, referred to as Doc, in the Twin Pines mall parking area. Doc invents time travel by constructing a plutonium-powered time machine using a DeLorean. To know what happens next, you should watch this.

One of the Best Time Travel Movies The Terminator narrates the tale of a humanoid cyborg (Schwarzenegger) dispatched to Los Angeles in 1984 from the year 2029 to assassinate Sarah Connor (Hamilton), in order to stop her future son, John, from guiding the humans in a war against the machines.
Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), a soldier from the human resistance, is also sent back in time to rescue Sarah Connor.
5. Donnie Darko

Donnie Darko, which came out in 2001, is a sci-fi movie focused on time travel. The protagonist, Donnie Darko, is a disturbed teen who experiences visions of a large rabbit named Frank. In the dead of night, Frank brings Donnie to a golf course and informs him that the world will cease to exist in precisely 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds.
As Donnie is outdoors, a jet engine from an aircraft crashes into his room. The jet engine appeared unexpectedly and shares a serial number with one that is already in existence. After Frank rescued Donnie's life that night, Donnie believes he must follow him and understand why the world will come to an end.
6. Edge of Tomorrow

Inspired by the Japanese novel All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, Edge of Tomorrow follows Major William Cage (portrayed by Tom Cruise), a man who is thrust into combat for a significant military mission against alien invaders called "Mimics." Unprepared and inexperienced in battle, Cage is killed in minutes—only to awaken 24 hours earlier, forced to relive (and die) the same day repeatedly.
Similar to numerous time travel movies, Edge of Tomorrow depends on intricate exposition and mind-twisting sci-fi concepts that might perplex some viewers.
