In her discussion with Karan Johar, she mentioned that she was meant to begin work on the show's rebooted edition much earlier, but was unable to do so due to having to take an oath as a minister. The actor-politician also disclosed that she had to turn down a film with the late Rishi Kapoor in order to meet her responsibilities as a politician.
