His one of the most famous directories is ‘The Kashmir Files. And, now he is all set to release his upcoming film - The Delhi Files which is now renamed as ‘The Bengal Files: Right To Life’.
Vivek Agnihotri's Trilogy
The Tashkent Files was the first installment in Vivek Agnihotri's trilogy. The film told the tale of Lal Bahadur Shastri, India's second prime minister, and his unexplained death. A probe is started after there is a conspiracy that it was an assassination.
The Kashmir Files came after the Tashkent Files. Despite being one of the first films released in the post-COVID era, the movie was a box office win. The third one is The Bengal Files which is going to be released soon.

Why Is The Film Renamed As The Bengal Files?

In a recent interview, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri revealed why the film’s title was changed from The Delhi Files to The Bengal Files. Initially, the plan was to create a two-part series—one focusing on events in Delhi and the other on Bengal. But as the story developed, Agnihotri realized that the entire film was centered around Bengal and its history.
Many fans also suggested changing the name to better reflect the film's theme. After conducting a poll where most people voted for the new title, he decided to go with The Bengal Files. Agnihotri mentioned that it made more sense to keep the title clear and connected to the story.
He also hinted that the second part of the series will get a new title too, but that will be decided after the release of this film. The Bengal Files: Right to Life will explore powerful and sensitive topics like the Hindu genocide and political decisions that shaped Bengal in the 1940s.
The Bengal Files Teaser
The Bengal tragedy would be discussed in the Delhi Files, or what it was once intended to be. Although further information about the film is still being kept under wraps, the teaser that was released a few months ago hinted at a horrifying event. In it, Zakhmi Sipahi's character Mithun Chakraborty was shown moving along an empty corridor.
In the teaser, the actor portrays an Indian who recites the Preamble of the Indian Constitution with a burnt tongue, giving the impression that he is a warrior who has witnessed some things.

Cast Of The Bengal Files
Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Mithun Chakraborty are among the strong cast members of The Bengal Files: Right to Life. Among the many challenges the film faced during production was safety concerns, which prompted the filmmakers to shoot in Mumbai rather than Kolkata. However, filming has been finished effectively.
The film, which was written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, was presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal and produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi under the auspices of I Am Buddha Productions.
