Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has officially become part of the cast for Sardaar Ji 3, the newest entry in the beloved Punjabi horror-comedy series featuring Diljit Dosanjh. The trailer, launched by Dosanjh on Instagram, features Aamir alongside returning actress Neeru Bajwa.
Helmed by Amar Hundal, Sardaar Ji 3 features Diljit Dosanjh as a ghost hunter called to confront a haunting spirit in a mansion located in the UK. Hania and Neeru play Dosanjh's character's romantic interests in this action, horror, and comedy trailer.

Diljit Dosanjh Trolled By Fans
Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has found himself in trouble after releasing the trailer for his new movie Sardaar Ji 3, which stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir as the main character. Hania's appearance in the trailer and Diljit's partnership with her has triggered anger online, with users labeling him 'insensitive' and 'shameless,' particularly considering the current tensions between India and Pakistan.
After the lethal Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22 that resulted in the deaths of 26 Indian tourists, Pakistani stars are prohibited from working in India. Their accounts on social media have also been suspended. It should be noted that although the film was filmed prior to the Pahalgam attack, the timing of Diljit debuting the trailer has faced backlash.
Additionally, Sardaar Ji 3 will not have a cinema release in India. The movie is now scheduled to debut internationally on June 27, a choice apparently made to prevent regulatory issues and public criticism.

Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi all play important roles in the film. After its launch in 2015, the series quickly became well-known. After an eight-year break after Sardaar Ji 2's 2016 release, Sardaar Ji 3 marks the series' return.
On June 27, 2025, the third installment of Sardaar Ji (Sardaar Ji 3) would be released only abroad.
