Actor Kareena Kapoor recently reunited with her sister Karisma Kapoor and close friends Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora. On Wednesday night, Kareena shared a photo of their get-together on her Instagram Stories, expressing her joy at reconnecting with the group after a long time. The picture captured the four friends posing together, with Karisma taking the selfie.
For the gathering, Kareena chose a casual yet chic look, wearing a white shirt paired with denim jeans and heels, accessorized with a stylish bag. Karisma opted for a simple black dress and slippers, while Malaika sported a printed white dress with red slippers. Amrita Arora went for a laid-back style in a shirt dress and shoes. The friends, all wearing sunglasses, smiled for the camera, showcasing their close bond. Kareena captioned the photo with, "The gang forever," followed by a red heart emoji. Karisma also shared the image on her Instagram Stories, adding a heart gif to express her affection for the group. Malaika, who had recently returned from trips to France and Australia, joined the reunion, while Karisma and Kareena had spent time together in London the previous month.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor is set to appear in "The Buckingham Murders," a suspense thriller that marks her debut as a producer. The film, which is written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films, along with Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena herself. Scheduled for release on September 13, the movie also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
In addition to "The Buckingham Murders," Kareena will feature in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film "Daayra" and is part of Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated "Singham Again," the third installment of the popular "Singham" franchise. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. The first two films in the franchise, "Singham" (2011) and "Singham Returns" (2014), were both major successes.
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor, who was last seen in the film "Murder Mubarak," is gearing up for her next project, the series "Brown." Directed by Abhinay Deo, "Brown" is centered on the characters Rita Brown, a suicidal alcoholic, and Arjun Sinha, a widower grappling with survivor's guilt, as they face off against an unstoppable serial killer. Karisma is also one of the judges on the fourth season of the reality show "India's Best Dancer."
