Karan Johar Reaction On Stree 2 Blockbuster Success

The movie Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has been making history at the box office. The horror-comedy movie is still unstoppable, having already made over Rs 100 crore. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor reprise their respective roles  in Amar Kaushik's Stree 2. The enormous success of Stree 2 has, in the words of the director, "affirmed that humongous conviction, bravado, and focus on concept, story, and a deep-rooted connection with an audience will pay rich dividends at the ticket window!" to illustrate the potency of compelling narrative and deeply ingrained content.

The success of this Amar Kaushik film, in Karan Johar's opinion, indicates that content providers are the main focus of cinema. KJo praised the writer, production companies, and director even further, saying, "Their strategy, talent, and belief have produced what may be one of the biggest success stories ever." Today is STREE 2's anniversary in Hindi cinema, and as a producer and storyteller, I am incredibly motivated.

Released on the long weekend of Independence Day, Stree 2 features important characters played by Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. This narrative, authored by Niren Bhatt and co-produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, is the fifth entry in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and a follow-up to Stree (2018).

Stree 2 is currently showing in theaters and has made Rs 228 crores in the first five days of its release. The director credited a solid narrative, deeply felt material, and a close bond with the audience for the movie's success. He also gave the entire cast and crew, the director, and the producers acclaim for their roles in the success of the movie.
