Readers may remember that, 25 years after their box office smash Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman Khan and Karan Johar are reunited for filmmaker Vishnuvardhan's next movie. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Karan Johar and Vishnuvardhan have yet to cast any actors for the movie, despite media rumours claiming that Trisha, Samantha, and Anushka Shetty are in talks to join the cast.
Vishnuvardhan is now finishing off his commitment to a Tamil film, according to individuals familiar with the situation, and will begin casting for Salman Khan's upcoming movie in the first week of October.
Naturally, two names have been explored internally, but those are not the names that are making the rounds in the media. In order to cast the action thriller with the Indian Army as its backdrop, Karan and Vishnu will begin talking to actors in October, according to a source familiar with the project.
After his national award-winning debut, Shershaah, Vishnuvardhan will star in his second Hindi movie, which has not yet been given a title. It is claimed to be based on one of India's most valiant victories.
The dialogue draught, screenplay, and script are secured. Basic preparation has also been completed, and Vishnu plans to fully immerse himself in the universe of this October action thriller with a military theme. The source further stated that Salman has already begun his preparation work for the movie. "The team is targeting to start the film with a brief schedule in the first half of December and then reunite for a marathon shoot in January," the source said.
Salman is dedicated to getting in shape so that he can portray a paramilitary officer. He is exercising regularly and adhering to a rigorous diet, the person continued.
On the professional front, KJo has recently been in the news for two of his films: KILL, which had its global debut at TIFF 2023, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which was released in July. Salman Khan's subsequent film will be Tiger 3.
