An FIR report was filed against actress Shweta Tiwari for allegedly hurting people's religious feelings with her controversial statement. The incident occurred during a discussion about her new web series in Bhopal. The case was registered under Section 295(a) of the Indian Penal Code at the Shyamla Hills Police Station, Bhopal.
During the launch event for the web series, Shweta said that her bra size is determined by "bhagwaan". The humorous statement did not seem to sit well with many. Her upcoming web series starring Mirab Raj Jain and Rohit Roy.
The FIR came after Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narutam Mishra spoke about Shweta Tiwari's controversial statement. Speaking to media on Thursday, Narutam Mishra said: "I have seen and heard Shweta Tiwari's statement. I am doomed. I have instructed the Bhopal Police Commissioner to investigate and inform me soon. Then action will be taken."
Shweta Tiwari is seen at a press conference in Bhopal to promote her upcoming web series which is based on the world of fashion. She is criticized for her statement and her jokes about God.
The series also stars Saurabh Raj Jain who is known for playing the role of Lord Krishna in Mahabharat. Shweta Tiwari and Saurabh are seen together on the supernatural reality show Khatron Ki Khiladi 11.
