While having a star-studded star cast might be good for your movie, if there is no chemistry between your main protagonists, it will reflect on the silver screen and might break your movie. In Bollywood, we have been lucky to be graced with some onscreen couples who have given us some major relationship goals.

Below is our list of our favourite Bollywood couples we wish were together in real life too!

1. SRK - Kajol

Well, of course, this one had to top our list. If you think SRK is the King of romance, half the credit for this goes to Kajol. The chemistry between these two made it hard to believe that a boy and a girl could indeed be friends.

2. Rekha - Amitabh Bachchan

One of the best onscreen couples, their alleged real-life rumour gave way to making their pair even better on reel life. The angry young man with one of the most sensuous actresses of the time, their pair itself was a reason to go watch the movie.

3. Akshay Kumar - Katrina Kaif

The khiladi with the perfect girl next door hit it off instantly in the initial years of her career. From comedy to action to drama, the couple starred in a couple of genres and never failed to impress.

4. Ranbir Kapoor - Deepika Padukone

Once they made their relationship public, they officially became everyone's favourite couple. Be it photoshoots, appearances, or their movies, we just couldn't enough of this millennial couple. They parted ways a year and a half later, but this didn't affect their onscreen chemistry.

5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Hrithik Roshan

She is deemed as one of the most beautiful women in the world and he is known as a Greek Goddess, put them both together and you get an unbelievably gorgeous pair. One you wouldn't want to lay your eyes off, the sparks between them make us want to see them together more often on the screen.

6. Shahid Kapoor - Kareena Kapoor

One of our personal favourite couples, the chocolate boy and the chirpy Punjabi kudi were a great pair both on and off screen. Even post breaking up, they kept continuing complimenting each other and delivered the superhit Jab We Met.

7. Alia Bhatt - Varun Dhawan

How can we forget the new star kids on the block! The vibe and chemistry Alia and Varun share is so fresh and vibrant, maybe the fact that they're great friends in real life is what gives them the perfect sync.
