India’s Boong created history by securing the Best Children’s and Family Film award, marking the first win for an Indian production in this category.

Boong narrates the heartfelt story of a young boy from Manipur who aspires to amaze his mother with an extraordinary gift - reuniting her with his absent father. His pure pursuit results in unforeseen revelations, ultimately changing his life and creating a fresh start.

The movie initially debuted at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in the Discovery category and subsequently featured at prominent international events like the 2024 Warsaw International Film Festival, 2024 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, International Film Festival of India, and the 2025 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
