Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino First Look Out, Shows Modern Love Stories

"What if the chaos of the city could tell love stories?" That’s exactly what Anurag Basu’s upcoming film Metro In Dino promises to explore.

After winning hearts with Life In A... Metro back in 2007, Basu is all set to return with a fresh, relatable take on love and relationships in today’s fast-paced world.

The teaser line, “The city has changed, and the stories have too,” instantly hits home for every urban soul navigating love, loneliness, and longing in a digital age.

Metro In Dino First Look:

A short video featuring the first look at the movie and a sneak peek at its opening song, "Zamaana Lage," was published by the "Metro In Dino" group. In the video, which offers an insight into their personal lives, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee all portray amazing characters.

The first line of the video is, "The city has changed, and the stories have too." It then shows Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan together at a train station. While Sara's character revels in the vibrancy of city life, Aditya's character is shown relishing the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Why You Should Watch Metro In Dino

In recent times, Bollywood has produced numerous adaptations and remakes of classic songs from earlier years. With Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh on vocals, the teaser for Metro In Dino's first single, Zamaana Lage, reveals a promising original composition that revives Anurag's unique musical approach.

The song seems to express the experiences of Millennials and Gen Z, who quickly form close relationships full of intense emotions, by fusing realism with moving storytelling. Both the song and the music for the entire film were written by Pritam. 

With soulful music by Pritam and powerful storytelling by Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino is set to become the love story for a new generation. Mark your calendars for July 4, 2025!
