Loveyapa OTT Release Date & Streaming Platform
Following months of anticipation, Loveyapa, featuring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, premiered in February 2025. Following its debut in theaters, the film is now available on OTT for viewers to watch at home. On April 4, 2025, the filmmakers revealed that the romantic comedy is now available for streaming on Jio Hotstar, effective today.
In addition to a motion poster, the team stated, “All is fair in love & loveyapa! #Loveyapa is currently available on JioHotstar.”

Loveyapa is a story about a young couple who explored each other's online lives after being compelled to swap their unlocked smartphones before their wedding. The film portrays a contemporary relationship of a Gen Z couple that heavily relies on their gadgets. Consequently, situations begin to become somewhat chaotic as they discover hidden truths about one another, facilitated by their gadgets.
One discovery leads to another, causing them to mistrust one another and reconsider their romantic connection. But could they release the past and concentrate on the present, or were the couple influenced by the hidden details they discovered while exploring each other’s phones? Loveyapa Cast & Crew
Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa is a reimagining of the 2022 Tamil movie named Love Today. The film features Khushi in the role of Baani and Junaid portraying Gaurav. An ensemble cast of actors backs them, featuring Ashutosh Rana, Grusha Kapoor, Kiku Sharda, Kavita Kaushik, Sudesh Lehri, among others.
Funded by AGS Entertainment and Phantom Studios, the comedic film garnered varied responses from critics and failed to perform well at the box office.
Khushi Kapoor & Junaid Khan Movie Loveyapa Box Office Collection
The February 2025 release had a respectable opening at the box office, grossing 1.25 crores. Junaid Khan & Khushi Kapoor's movie faced off at the box office against Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravikumar, which had more favorable pre-release buzz. Nevertheless, it wrapped up its first weekend with earnings of 4.75 crores. Up to this point, everything is fine!
Loveyapa started to decline in its initial week, leaving no chance for recovery. It has made 7.69 crores throughout its lifetime. It might have experienced a longer duration, but there are numerous choices at the ticket counters, such as Chhaava and Crazxy.
Loveyapa is said to have a budget of 30 crores. This indicates that it managed to recoup just 26% of the overall expenses and has concluded its box office performance as a significant flop.
Hopefully, Khushi Kapoor can prove herself with Nadaaniyan, a Netflix romance featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan. Junaid Khan is set to appear with Sai Pallavi in his upcoming film, Ek Din.
