As part of its Reopening, the Delhi government on Sunday announced the reopening of bars, public parks, gardens and golf clubs from 21st June, Monday. Restaurants will be allowed to serve alcoholic beverages from Monday for a week, and outdoor yoga activities will also be allowed. Which were closed till April when coronavirus news broke out that 2nd wave of covid-19 has come.

“Bars are allowed at up to 50% sitting capacity from noon to 10pm. Restaurant and pub owners will be responsible for strict adherence to standard operating procedures and guidelines issued by the Government of India/Government of Delhi,” states the order issued by the Disaster Management Authority of Delhi (DDMA).

All stores, markets and malls were able to reopen without restrictions last week. However, restrictions (50% of sitting capacity) for restaurants persisted. Delhi government took this decision after deeply analysing the covid-19 situation of the city.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) also said public parks, gardens and golf clubs in Delhi will open from Monday, while outdoor yoga activities will also be allowed.
