Facebook and other Silicon Valley goliaths could confront more investigation and authorizations in the European Union after the alliance's top court-sponsored public protection guard dogs to seek after them, in any event, when they are not their lead controllers.

Tech campaigning bunch CCIA said the decision could prompt conflicting and unsure requirements and lift costs.
