Press Conference Held In Absence Of Darshan Thoogudeepa

Director Prakash Veer stated that the press conference was initially scheduled for after Darshan's release, but postponements compelled the team to move forward without him. Speaking to the media, he voiced his disappointment regarding the situation, stating, "We have waited until now, and today we are conducting the press conference." We kindly ask you to excuse the delay. "Unfortunately, Darshan is still not here with us today."

The director acknowledged that Darshan's lack of presence was emotionally challenging, referring to the star as his "strength of an elephant" and a solid support system during their career together.

For those who are unfamiliar, Darshan along with Pavithra Gowda and 15 others were taken into custody on June 11 for supposedly abducting and killing a 33-year-old fan named Renukaswamy.

On October 30, 2024, he was granted interim bail for six weeks due to medical reasons to have spine surgery, following 131 days in custody since his arrest on June 11, 2024.
