The story revolves around famous lawyer Harish Mathur (Pawan Malhotra) and his son Param (Ashish Verma). Harish is a strict, principled and experienced lawyer, while Param is a son who has no interest in law, but is forced to wear a black coat under pressure from his father.

Param's pain is reflected in his words - he considers it a guard on his freedom. The twist in the story comes when Param gets a simple divorce case. This case slowly turns into a battle of family pressure, sour father-son relationship and finding one's identity. Episode 2 – Pehla Mukadma - Param tries to prove himself in his first case, but courtroom rules and his father's expectations put him under further pressure.

Episode 3 – Law and Relationship - The conflict between father and son's thinking increases. Harish's experience and Param's new thinking clash in the court as well as at home.

Episode 4 – Sach Ka Samna - The course of the case unravels into a mystery that could change not just the client’s life but also the father-son relationship.

Episode 5 – Faisla - With the final arguments in court, Param has to decide whether he will live in his father’s shadow or come out with his own identity.
