The much-awaited YRF Spy Universe just dropped the teaser of War 2, and it’s everything fans hoped for — action, mystery, and two superstars going head-to-head! With Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as RAW’s top agent Kabir and Jr. NTR entering the spy world as a rogue force, this is going to be one explosive face-off!

The teaser opens with a voiceover from NTR Jr., where he shares his anticipation to encounter Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir, referring to him as “the finest soldier in India and RAW’s top agent.” Nevertheless, he states that although he has been attentively observing Kabir’s every action, Kabir is oblivious to his presence. In a chilling statement, Jr NTR cautions, “You aren’t familiar with me, but you will be soon,” suggesting an intense conflict is coming.
The teaser then presents thrilling battle scenes between Jr NTR and Hrithik, set in stunning global locations. A quick look at a bikini-wearing Kiara Advani hints at a romantic storyline involving her character and Hrithik’s Kabir. The teaser concludes with Jr NTR proclaiming, “Prepare for Battle.”

Hrithik Roshan's War 2 Release Date
With NTR Jr involved, the creators seek to attract a nationwide audience. The movie features Kiara Advani in the leading female role and is expected to be released on August 14, 2025, right before Independence Day.
War 2 Cast
War 2 is created by Yash Raj Films with Aditya Chopra as the director. Kiara Advani is the female lead, supposedly playing Kabir's love interest, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. The film is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and acts as a follow-up to War (2019), helmed by Siddharth Anand.
In preparation for the role, Jr NTR reportedly engaged in a rigorous fitness and combat training regimen to meet the action-packed requirements of the character.
YRF’s War 2 Plot
"War 2" is an Indian spy action thriller movie, continuing the story from the 2019 film "War," featuring Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal on a new covert assignment to tackle a new danger to the country.
A confrontation with Veerandra Ragunath, played by Jr. NTR, a renegade former RAW agent, is part of this operation. The story explores the aftermath of a previous mission in which Veerandra goes rogue due to a trick, resulting in a confrontation between him and Kabir.
