“Why wait for a job to serve the nation?” — This bold line from Jack might give you goosebumps at first, but does the movie really live up to the thrill it promises?
Siddhu Jonnalagadda, the man who made us laugh and cheer with DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, is back with a new mission—and this time, he's not chasing girls or trouble... he’s chasing terrorists. Teaming up with Baby fame Vaishnavi Chaitanya and director Bommarillu Bhaskar, Jack hit the theatres on April 10 with a lot of buzz—but did it boom at the box office or go out like a dud?
In this blog, we break down the plot, performances, first-day collection, and most importantly—whether it’s worth your time or not. Let’s dive into the spy world of Jack and see if Siddhu managed to pull off another blockbuster or missed the mark this time.
Telugu Movie Jack Cast & Release Date
Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who became well-known among young audiences through movies such as DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, features in the recently launched film Jack, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The movie stars Vaishnavi Chaitanya, known for her role in Baby, as the leading lady and premiered today (April 10).
While the trailer, featuring its trademark Siddhu-style dialogues, piqued some interest among viewers, the film's actual implementation brings into question whether Siddhu has succeeded in entertaining audiences again.
Jack Story
The narrative centers on Pablo Neruda, known as Jack (portrayed by Siddhu Jonnalagadda), whose dream is to become a spy agent in RAW. In the meantime, he feels it is his duty to safeguard the nation, questioning, “Why should I delay serving my country until I find employment?” He seeks to thwart a terrorist plot linked to bomb explosions in prominent Indian cities, such as Hyderabad. While on his mission, he unintentionally apprehends Manoj (portrayed by Prakash Raj), a RAW agent.
To reveal Jack’s true job, his father employs a detective, whose daughter (portrayed by Vaishnavi Chaitanya) starts following Jack. This drives Jack into unexpected difficulties. The remainder of the narrative uncovers Jack's genuine engagements, his efforts to prevent bomb explosions, and the growth of his romantic connection with Vaishnavi.
New Telugu Movie Jack Review
Overall, Jack is a feeble action-comedy that falters in multiple important aspects. Siddhu Jonnalagadda is the sole factor that injects some sense and allure into the movie. If you enjoy his humor, you might discover some redeeming instances. Nonetheless, the remainder of the movie descends into chaos rapidly, resulting in a substandard experience this week.
#Jack is a letdown in the name of spy comedy.#SiddhuJonnalagadda gives his best and the Jack character had a good idea behind it. BGM also works in a few scenes.

Jack Box Office Collection Day 1
As per reports, the first day numbers for Siddu Jonnalagadda's comedy action-drama are expected to be unexceptional. The Jack movie is anticipated to earn only under Rs 0.08 Crore on its opening day (predictions), and the numbers will continue to fluctuate. The actor's film featuring Vaishnavi Chaitanya received little attention, especially after following a Rs 130 Crore hit. The film is backed by a reputable production company, yet Tollywood enthusiasts and fans are curious as to why there's insufficient pre-release excitement for Jack, which could have positively impacted the day one earnings, at the very least.
Jack has its moments, thanks to Siddhu’s charm, but overall, it struggles to leave a lasting impact. Watch it only if you're a hardcore Siddhu fan.
