The makers of Nani and Keerthy Suresh's much-anticipated action drama Dasara have announced the release date for the film. This mass entertainer will be out in the cinema halls on the 30th of March in 2023. Made under the direction of Srikanth Odela, this will be the Natural Star's first pan-India movie.
The release date has been locked now. Apart from it being Rama Navami, the movie will also cash on the 4 days long weekend. It will further capitalize on the summer holidays going on in the education institutions. The announcement poster shows Nani in a massy avatar with dust all over his body and clothes. He can be seen donning messy hair with a liquor bottle beside him along with a portrait of yesteryear's popular actress Silk Smitha biting her nails in the backdrop.

Bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri on a massive scale under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Dasara will mark the debut of the filmmaker Srikanth Odela. Trying out something new, Nani will be seen playing a rustic character in the movie. In order to get the part just right, the Jersey actor underwent a grand makeover, working on his appearance and speech. His Telangana dialect in the film’s announcement video left everyone impressed.
The film’s shooting resumed yesterday in Hyderabad with the entire cast of the drama. While the National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the leading lady in Dasara, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab will also portray pivotal characters in the film. Set against the backdrop of a village situated in Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani in Telangana, the project will see the protagonist in a new rustic avatar.
Now, coming to the technical crew, Santhosh Narayanan is a part of the venture as the music director, and Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the cinematographer. While Navin Nooli is the editor for the movie, Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the flick.
