Music and Rain!

Music and Rain!

Rainy days hold you back, bound you in your homes but provides a great opportunity to grab a cup of tea, have that conversation and play a bunch of music you wound’t normally get away with.

From 43 to 28 degrees, Delhites have finally got a relief, and it’s the perfect time to listen to some good classic songs!

Here’s a playlist to capture the good vibe of a rainy day; turn up the volume and contemplate life with me.

1) Hey Jude by The Beatles

A classic by the insanely famous band Beatles.

“Hey you, don’t make it bad, take a rainy day and listen to Beatles”

2) Yellow by Coldplay

The song that made Coldplay famous. It is everyone’s favourite Coldplay song. Chris Martin wrote this for his unrequited love, psychologically Yellow can mean fear, and probably Martin was afraid of expressing his love.

3) Wish you were here by Pink Floyd

David Gilmour’s legendary voice with his insane guitar skills makes this the perfect choice with rain. Period.

4) Bollywood Medley by Raghav Chaitanya

Special mention. You need to listen this for the nostalgic feel in a fresh voice.

5) Raat Raazi by Prateek Kuhad

You’ll love this guy, he has a voice we all have been craving for. He makes different kind of music, exactly the type we wanted from an Indian singer.

6) Nothing’s gonna hurt you baby by Cigarettes after sex

Planning to make out with the water dripping in your balconies? Add this song, and it will be one of the best experiences ever.

7) All I want by Kodaline

“All I want is nothing more, to hear you knocking at my door”. Steve Garrigan puts a lot emotions in his songs and you can feel that when he says “But if you loved me, why’d you leave me”. Recommended.

8) Can’t help falling in love by Elvis Presley

The king of rock and roll penned down this beautiful song, and it’s his most popular love song. He wrote this song for her grandmother. How beautiful is that :’)

9) Gravity by John Mayer

John Mayer uses gravity as a metaphor and says that it's bringing him down. And he asks gravity to stay the hell away from him.

Everyone can relate to this song because every person has a different gravity in his life which brings him down. Something with which a person struggles, that is his gravity.

John Mayer’s deep voice with his insane guitar skills is bound to give you an eargasm.

10) Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton

To be honest, I can write ten Eric’s songs to listen to right now, he’s so good with his music. Eric’s life was not easy and still he managed to pen down some of the most beautiful songs in the entire music history.

This list should probably last an hour, and then you can continue with your favourites!
