PeeCee, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh will soon be seen at an exclusive residential project that is cleared of legal bounds
Priyanka Chopra had invested in a space at a building in Andheri which was stuck in legal dispute since 2013. Windsor Grande Residencies in the posh neighbourhood now called “Upper Lokhandwala” finally has the green signal, and Priyanka might be setting up home or office there. Her mother Madhu Chopra is the owner of a 15,000 sqft office space in the luxury residential complex which has four towers and one commercial building.
Over 70 apartments have been sold to celebrities like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Alka Yagnik, Mika Singh and industrialists Jagmohan Arora, and Birla Sunlife CEO Pankaj Razdan. The project was on hold since 2013 after the National Green Tribunal pointed out missing approvals. The buyers had subsequently formed a group called 'Windsor Grande Residences Forum' to address this. They can heave a sigh of relief as the BMC has put the project in the clear with an Occupation Certificate (OC).
Meanwhile, Priyanka continues to win the west. Her latest feather-in-the-cap is a catchy new commercial for clothing giant GAP where she's grooving alongside rapper Wiz Khalifa, TV star Jonathan Groff, supermodel Christie Brinkley and Olympic athlete Miles Chamley-Watson. The music is Boney M's retro hit, Sunny and the campaign taglined #BridgingTheGap has gone viral.
After making an appearance in practically every talk show in America, PeeCee is now basking in the afterglow of her villainous turn in Baywatch and enjoying the red carpet spotlight. She attended a fashion awards show in New York with top designer Michael Kors and spent the weekend at a polo match in New Jersey with Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman, model Kendall Jenner and Kate Mara. PeeCee was twinning with none other than Nicole Kidman this time, in polka dot dresses. Atta girl!
