LG Launches New Range of OLED, Smart, UHD, NanoCell AI ThinQ TVs for the Indian Consumers

LG has recently launched the brand new range of AI or Artificial Intelligence-powered televisions in India. Consumers will be delighted to know that all the products of this range come with a promise of ecstatic quality of display along with much-improved UHD and OLED performance. This new range of television consists of Smart, LED, UHD, NanoCell, and OLED AI ThinQ variants of the televisions. The South Korean giant has announced that all the televisions will come with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support in all the models of the OLED lineup. iOS lovers will also be looking forward to using the Apple HomeKit integration on TVs. The company has announced that some of the NanoCell TVs will controllable with the help of Siri voice integration.

Pricing and voice recognition technology

The new LG range of TVs is of the size anywhere between 32-inch to 77-inch. So how are these TVs priced? The price range extends anywhere from Rs.24,990 and Rs.10,99,990. So for the base price of Rs.24,990, you will get the 32 inches variant and for the highest price of Rs.10,99,990, you will enjoy a whole new television experience in the 77 inches variant. All the variants come with lots of apps preloaded like AltBalaji, Amazon Prime Video, Eros Now, Hotstar, Hungama Play, Netflix, Sun Next, YouTube, YuppTV, and Zee5.

Coming to the top features of this brand new lineup of televisions, at CES 2019 LG demonstrated how all the products are integrated with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant out of the box. On top, LG has included the company's in-house ThinQ AI voice recognition technology which will surely help you to enjoy a much better and accurate voice search results. All the TVs from the basic to the most expensive variant are said to be manufactured with the Contextual Voice Understanding feature.

Display quality, sound and connectivity

For those customers who do not want to compromise on the quality of the display and resolution, LG has brought the brand new NanoCell TV range. The TVs of this category include innovative features like Nano Colour with Full Array Dimming, Nano Accuracy, and Nano Bezel. LG claims that the new TVs will provide a significant amount of improvement over the earlier televisions. The NanoCell TVs are designed to provide more crisp and vivid colours with the panels providing better colour reproduction. The thin bezels provide a more immersive viewing experience.

Coming to the sound quality of the TVs, all the new televisions come with Dolby Atmos sound system. It promises a more clear and surround sound experience. All the viewers are expected to get a brilliant depth and clarity in everything they watch on the television. Users can connect their television via Bluetooth. Not only that, the Bluetooth integration is "two way". This means that it will allow you to listen to the TV audio on a device that is compatible and also allow the smartphone to be connected with the TV for streaming video and music. LG has also designed their televisions such that the users will be able to use Google Photos and Google Drive features in them.

Final Words - Abhiral Bhansali, the Product Head of Home Entertainment (OLED and UHD TV) has mentioned that LG has planned to capture at least 84% of the AI-powered television with the launch of their ThinQ based range of smart TVs.
