While MBBS is most seeked course, viz. Professional degree to practice as a doctor. The MBBS course is of 5 year long duration. It takes sweat and blood to become doctor. Doctors enjoys a life full of respect along with a high paying job either they work in some private / government or practice in private clinics.
Annually, Medical colleges conduct there entrance test for UG and PG medical programmes for filling seats. Following is the list of National Level Medical Test to be conducted this year :
- Exam Name: NEET (AIPMT) – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
NEET (UG) is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education which is responsible for conducting and declaration of result which is provided to Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for conducting counselling for 15% all India seats and other state counselling authorities. The minimum percentile (cut-off) required by candidates for MBBS & BDS admission is as below:
Unreserved Category (UC, GEN) : 50 %
Unreserved physically handicapped: 45 %
SC / ST / OBC: 40%

Exam Syllabus: The syllabus for the exam is set by Medical Council of India after reviewing the syllabus by CBSE. The Paper is objective type containing following segments:
Biology: 90 questions
Physics: 45 questions
Chemistry: 45 questions

- Exam Name: AIIMS- All India Institute of Medical Science
AIIMS is established in 1956 as an autonomous institution . The institution awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. The admission to the institute is based on its own National Exam conducted each year . Details are as following:

General Knowledge & Aptitude: 20 questions

- Exam Name: JIPMER – MBBS (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research)
JIPMER is one the famous institute for medical studies. Each Year the institute conducts its entrance exam for filling 200 seats for MBBS programme. JIPMER is an institute under the Ministry of Health and family welfare, Government of India.
Eligibility:
- Candidates need to be citizen of India. (NRI, OCI can also apply).
- Candidates need to qualify 10+2 or equivalent course from government recognized institute with minimum 60% marks for GEN, 50% marks for OBC/ SC/ ST / OPH IN physics, chemistry & Biology subjects.

- Exam Name: COMEDK - Karnataka (MBBS)
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” – an autonomous institution conducts annual entrance examination for filling seats in 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 engineering college. This year the examination will be conducted on below mentioned date across India for filling around 20000 seats.
Exam Pattern : There will be total 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
