National film awards: Late veteran actor Sridevi bestowed with the best actress award.

The 65th National Film Awards were announced by Shekhar Kapur, the head of the Jury for feature films, in the capital, New Delhi, on April 13th, 2018 i.e Friday. While the award ceremony will be held on May 3, 2018, the prestigious awards will be presented by President of India Ram Nath Kovind.

Late veteran actors Sridevi and Vinod Khanna were awarded posthumously with the former receiving the National Film Award for Best Actress for revenge drama MOM and Vinod Khanna was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award a year after his sad dismissal.
