Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit jodi has always managed to set cash registers ringing at the box office. The popular pair is all set to make a comeback on big screen after almost 17 years.
As per the media report, the ‘Ever Young’ Kapoor and ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl has been roped in for Indra Kumar’s comic caper ‘Total Dhamaal’. Anil and Madhuri were last seen together in Boney Kapoor’s ‘Pukar’ which was released in 2000.
The duo had given many hits like, ‘Tezaab’, ‘Beta’, ‘Kishan-Kanhaiyya’, ‘Ram Lakhan’ to name a few. Anil’s rowdy, rogue image always complimented Madhuri’s delicate beauty. Their natural chemistry has made them one of the all time hot on-screen pair in Bollywood.
‘Total Dhamaal’ is the 3rd instalment in Indra Kumar’s hit ‘Dhamaal’ franchise. After the success of ‘Dhamaal’ and ‘Double Dhamaal’, the director, producer is gearing up for its 3rd offering which will also feature, Ajay Devgan who will be replacing Sanjay Dutt.
Currently the production team is doing recce in Uttar Pradesh and the shoot is tentatively scheduled to start from December 15, 2017. When asked about his favourite pair of Anil and Madhuri, the director said to a leading website that, “This film is essentially a comedy so don't expect any 'Dhak Dhak' but I promise total dhamaal. Anil and Madhuri have always been a great pair to work with and getting them together again is a dream."
Earlier it was said that Ajay Devgn will be paired opposite his ‘Badshaho’ co-star Ileana D’cruz but an inside source rubbished all the rumours. He quoted,"There was no truth to the rumours about Ajay recommending Ileana for Total Dhamaal. It is true that the original script had scope for another actress besides Madhuri. But on second thoughts, the makers felt that it would be interesting to see Ajay without a love interest. If you see Dhamaal and Double Dhamaal, Sanjay Dutt’s character too didn’t have a leading lady opposite him."
Actors like Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Madhuri Dixit who are known for their terrific comic timing will definitely up the entertainment quotient in this movie, making it a ‘Total Dhamaal’ experience for the audience.
