Lord Krishna from Sony's Suryaputra Karna is getting married on November 28

Saurabh Pandey reveals shaadi details

You know him as the male lead from the soaps 'Jiya Jale', 'Tere Mere Sapne', 'Shaurya Aur Suhani', and 'Ganga Ki Dheej'. More recently, he has been spouting wisdom as Krishna kanhaiya in Suryaputra Karna on Sony.

Come November 28, actor Saurabh P'andey will also be known as Mr Zara Soni Barring. Yes, the fresh-faced bachelor boy is getting married to his girlfriend Zara from Canada who happens to be a rising media personality in her own right. She has anchored for Box Cricket League Punjab and is set to host the next one. Zara has also featured in a series of music videos [the latest one is Resham Singh Anmol's 'Munda Pyar Karda' on T-series]. She is working on film projects while the wedding preparations are on.

The couple have known each other for a decade. “We've been dating since 2008 and I know I want to spend the rest of my life with her,” says Saurabh who considers himself the luckiest guy in the world right now. “Zara is all the qualities you'd want in a girl rolled into one – beauty, intelligence, charm and kindness. She is my personal adviser and best friend. Since we are both in showbiz, we understand work schedules and the baggage that comes with being a celebrity. I couldn't have asked for a better life partner,” he gushes.

The shaadi functions have already begun months back at the bride's neighbourhood in Canada. “We had a jaago and sangeet for her guests there in August. The engagement and mehendi are scheduled for November 26 and 27 respectively and the big day for the gorgeous lovebirds will dawn on the 28th  in Mumbai. “I'm from Delhi but I want all my friends in Mumbai to be there. Since most of them are shooting on those dates, they won't be able to travel to Delhi. I cherish the friends I have made in Mumbai since I moved here so how could I not have my wedding here,” he says. Saurabh's family will fly down from Delhi for the functions.
