Date is set for ‘Veere Di Wedding’

After wooing the audience with their debut production ‘Aisha’, Anil Kapoor’s talented daughters, Sonam and Rhea are gearing up for their next offering ‘Veere Di Wedding’, this time in association with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Balaji Motion Pictures’. Now the makers have announced the release date of this chick film which will be 18th May, 2018. 

The first look of the movie, directed by Shashank Ghosh who earlier directed Sonam Kapoor in rom-com ‘Khoobsurat’, created enough curiosity among the viewers with its vibrant style.

In the first poster, the cast of gorgeous actresses including, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania were seen draped in gorgeous lehengas but not completely revealing their faces. This has peak the anticipation among the audience. 

While in the second poster, the leading ladies are seen striking their best poses, looking adorable in sherwanis and pagdis.  The response to these posters has been outstanding and audiences across the nation are anxious to attend this big fat Indian wedding!

The movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is still at the shooting stage and the cast and crew recently wrapped their Delhi schedule. The movie is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd., and An Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network production.

Considered as Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first movie to be released after motherhood, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has been eagerly awaited by Bebo’s fans.  

Earlier the movie was in the news due to its title which was somewhat similar with Punjabi movie ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ featuring Jimmy Shergill. Anil Kapoor tried to intervene with the help of Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA) and later approached High Court. But latter dismissed Anil's claims and ruled in favour of Punjabi movie.
