As we often see, high successful people are less stressed and happier. The reason for this is their highly effective prioritization. As soon as these people wake up, they spend a ‘me’ time instead of checking the e-mail.

Wake up really really early

This one’s the first and the most important. Successful people tend to wake up really really early. Some even get up at 4:00 AM.

Waking up early will provide you more time to get shit done.

Tip- Start with waking up 15 minutes earlier than your usual time and you will gradually adjust to your new habit.

Do some exercise

It’s not an unknown fact that exercising, doing yoga or hitting the gym is any day far better than doing the same in evening. Getting up early and burning your calories will help you a lot in the long run. This not only makes you healthier and happier, it also helps in combating stress.

Walking, dancing, or running around the area you live in for just 10 minutes should get you started. You can gradually increase your workout.

The Steve Jobs trick

We all know that Steve Jobs, the late founder of Apple Inc used this trick. Everyday as he got up, he asked himself the same question, if he finds himself saying no for several times in a week, then he knew that something was wrong and he rectified it immediately.

You never know when you’ll have the opportunity to do it the next time.

Plan & strategize in advance

This one’s real important and only takes about 10-15 minutes, you need to map out the direction of your day else how will you know if you’re headed towards the right direction?

Visualize your life goals, review your tasks for the day and allot breaks. This will make your day more manageable and less stressful.

Bond with your kids

Have kids? Then this one’s for you. Don’t regret it later that you didn’t have enough time to bond with your son/daughter who grew up so fast!

In the morning time, you have less stress and there is less cluster in your mind, so get your daughter dressed for school and cook something delicious for your kids.

Bond with your partner

This should never be ignored, no matter how successful you get, if you don’t have anyone to share your success with, it’s not worth it. Make time for your wife/husband and don’t forget to talk whole heartedly to them. Go on dates, trips etc and try not to lose that spark with your husband.

Share finances, plans, hobbies and every other stuff is vital for your relationship and your life. So, now you know, who you’re making a cup of coffee for in the morning?

Maintain your journal

You might have heard this a lot, and you are still not doing it. Every day, write down at least one thing that you’re thankful for. This will make you grateful and more optimistic and improve your overall outlook towards your life.
